daltonists
Experimental trio from Poland / jazz/afrobeat/dub and more!
daltonists is an experimental trio (leftfield jam) whose name references colour blindness — a metaphor for the imperfections of human nature that fuel their creative vision.
Blending contemporary jazz with Afrobeat, dub, African traditions, and club grooves, Daltonists craft a sound that’s as bold as it is unclassifiable. Since their formation in June 2021, they’ve quickly emerged as one of Poland’s most exciting new acts, performing at prestigious festivals such as Jazz Jantar, True Tone Festival, and OFF Festival. At the Crossroads Showcase Festival in Ostrava, they were awarded Best Act by industry professionals, leading to invitations to major festivals across Europe for the 2026/2027 seasons.
Their self-titled debut mini-album (May 2024) became a YouTube sensation, sparking international buzz and thousands of enthusiastic comments. A follow-up album is set for release in November 2025 on Folded Records (UK) with promotion support from 7 AM Music Promotion, known for work with Ninja Tune, KEXP, BBC 6, and NTS.
Following a partly sold-out tour across Poland and Europe in spring 2025, Daltonists will hit the road again in 2026 for spring and autumn tours.
